Zinc Roofing Specialists
At Full Metal Roofing, we are the UK experts in Zinc Roofing
Full Zinc Roofing Experts
We have undertaken many complex and demanding projects covering all roofing shapes and forms including domed, conical, concave and convex shapes.
Zinc can be laid on slopes from 5%, to vertical and allows a varied range of construction layouts and complex details, this makes it an ideal material for low pitched roofs up to 11m in length and maintenance free soffit and fascia details.
The most important aspect of a metal roof is the construction of the roofing substrate.
If this is incorrectly specified or the zinc is installed by an installer without the proper knowledge of the correct ventilation detail, the zinc roof is guaranteed to fail within a couple of years.
FMR understands the importance of having the correct roof construction and can advise on warm and cold roofing details as well as recommending the correct build up for your project.

FTMRC (Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors) Guarantee
While manufacturers provide a material only guarantee, the FTMRC (which Full Metal Roofing is a member) can now offer a fully underwritten insurance backed warranty for traditional hard metal roofing and cladding installations.
The FTMRC’s standardised installation guarantee issued by the installer details the scope of works to be covered by the insurance backed warranty, with the insurance premium being included in the contract value. The scheme is promoted by the FTMRC, material manufacturers and metalinfo.co.uk. In addition, the metalinfo web site provides architects and specifiers with design information including CAD drawings and material specification. With access to the scheme being available only through FTMRC members it gives the architect and building owner the comfort of knowing their project will be undertaken by a recognised installer of good standing, adhering to the FTMRC Guide to Practice.
